Birdwatching in Myanmar - Private: This fascinating half-day experience begins with an early pick-up from the hotel, before transferring to Hlawga Park to begin this bird watching adventure.
To ensure the most is made from the experience, a local bird expert will be on hand throughout the day. Once inside the park, the first stop is Hlawga Lake. This area abounds with all sorts of wildlife; birds in particular. Receiving a booklet about the birds of the park, visitors are provided a great way to keep track of what is spotted during the tour.
A few of the highlight species include: the Oriental Darter, the Racket-tailed Treepie, the Asian Fairy Bluebird, and (found only in Southern Myanmar) the Red –Eye Stripe-throated Bulbul.
In addition to the many bird species, it is possible to get a glimpse of the very rare Brow Antlered Deer.
