Fort Lauderdale Revealed: This is Fort Lauderdale's most complete, cultural walking tour. We will explore and reveal some of the most fascinating places in Fort Lauderdale as we learn about the city's dynamic past and we find out about what to see and do in the city in the present day.
* Get closer to nature on the Riverwalk
* Take a stroll through the place to be: Las Olas
* Visit the oldest Hotel in the said to be haunted City of Lauderdale
Known amongst many as Florida’s Most Beautiful Mile, the promenade fantastically fuses together the man-made side to the city along with its more natural side. Whilst going along the walk, you will feel as though you are walking along a timeline. The Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk showcases the city’s many faces in one place! Along the way you’ll see and find all kinds of goodies including a butterfly garden, a picnic area and plenty of native plants. You’ll come to know all sorts of stuff about the creatures that call this city its home such as iguanas, armadillos and raccoons.
Las Olas Boulevard has it all! Lined with palm trees, you will feel the sea breeze blowing through your hair as you explore the array of galleries, boutiques and so on. Las Olas has a unique and calming Mediterranean-esque ambience by day with its three dozen bistros and ornate streets full of black olive trees.
You will go in to Stranahan House which is a monumental building in the city. The man who built this house has been acknowledged as the founding father of this city! It is the oldest surviving structure in Broward County. It is set right on the river and thus provides top notch views.
Give yourself something eerie to look forward to as you make your way to a hotel where you’ll have the chance to rest your feet as you sit down and have a drink. If you’re up for it and you don’t mind getting goose bumps; feel free to ask to hear a chilling ghost story from your fun and friendly tour guide.
