Downtown Walking Tour: We started in the historic centre, to be precise in the Zócalo, where the empire of the Aztecas was once seated, which was later demolished by the Spanish conquest to build with the same stone of the colonial city. We will walk through some of the busiest streets in the centre and visit by outside some emblematic buildings such as Metropolitan Cathedral, National Palace, Templo Mayor and Bellas Artes.
When we have an opportunity and are not taking the religious ceremony in the Cathedral, we will enter to admire the beautiful architecture; the maximum colonial work in the American Continent. Even so, those who like can enter a few minutes to hear Mass, so they do not stay. With the desire to know part not only religious but also cultural of Mexico. You can see archaeological remains of the Templo Mayor de Tenochtitlan, which formed part of the Mexican Culture, from the Late Post classic period.
We will also walk through one of the most popular avenues and passed from the centre; av.
