Discover Iquitos, Quistococha lagoon and the Amazon Rescue Center: City tour of Iquitos including the Plaza de Armas (main square), the plaza 28 de Julio and Palacio de Justicia. On the way back, pass by the local market and the Casa de Hierro (iron house) designed by Gustave Eiffel. Proceed to the Quistococha lagoon, botanical park and zoo to admire the rainforest flora and fauna. Finally, we will visit the Amazonian rescue center (CREA), which is focused in developing a recovery project of the Amazonian Manatee. This organization is in charge of rehabilitating confiscated species that come from the illegal trafficking to release them in the wild.
Meeting/pick-up point: Pick up from hotels in Iquitos downtown only.
