Siena Excursions & Tours: The first part of our day will be dedicated to the territory of Siena and starts with a visit of Monteriggioni, the ancient crown-shaped fortress that adorned the head of Italy on the old 100 lire currency. The same walls, which date back to the 13th century, are endowed with 14 towers that Dante likened to the Giants of Inferno in his Divine Comedy. After a brief visit we will relax at a Chianti winery for a lunch of salami, cheeses and other local products, accompanied by a tasting of Chianti wines.
Our day continues with a trip to Val d’Orcia, another jewel in the Tuscan territory and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004. We will travel to Montalcino, which from its hill dominates the 1500 hectares of Brunello vineyards that have contributed to making the area world-famous.
Our last stop will be in a local wine cellar where we will taste the renowned Brunello of Montalcino, which finds its place among the finest Italian DOCG wines. We will visit the wine cellar and also taste typical local products.

A couch will drive you to Talamone, an ancient town on the Gulf whose port has been an important commercial point for the Etruscans, the Romans and all throughout history.
A comfortable boat will be waiting for you. Enjoy the sea breeze on the 1 hour boat ride to the Giglio Island. Once on the island you will have the chance to explore it by yourself. You can choose to visit the main beaches by public transport or you can rent a scooter (both optional and at your own expenses). At lunch time you can chose to jump back on board and continue travelling to Giannutri or spend the afternoon keeping exploring the Giglio Island. If you select the second option you will enjoy a 40 minutes boat ride and you will see more spectacular beaches with crystal clear water. Once on the island you may also choose to join a guided tour of the Roman Villa on top of the hill (optional at your own expenses).

During the four hour lesson, you will prepare a full Italian meal, from appetizer to dessert. We will first prepare all the needed ingredients by washing and cutting them. Our chef will show you how to make fresh pasta from the row ingredients and you will have the chance to knead it yourself! You will also cook the sauce (Tomato, Ragù Bolognese or Pesto), ‘bruschetta’ as a starter, a main course (seafood or meat) with a side dish, as well as a dessert! Our chef will show you how to decorate your plate and you will finally have lunch with the amazing dishes you made.
