Its name, derived from the Swahili language, means “The factory of water”, a term that perfectly applies for the area and the property, being surrounded by rivers and waterfalls, and the tropical Rainforest of the area.
Kiwanda Maji is the perfect combination between a working farm and the rich nature that is present in the area to offer several hectares of forest, nature trails, and rich flora and fauna. The property has extension of 180 hectares, some of which have been dedicated farm, in which you enjoy the goats, sheep, horses and donkeys. You’ll learn about the important contribution they provide the form with. Next you’ll visit the milking station and cheese factory, where fresh cheese combinations are produced. Excursions in Pacific North Coast / Guanacaste: The excursion of snorkeling uses the same boat as the divers allowing all the family to come along and enjoy the wonders of our marine life. You will have 2 opportunities to snorkel at different sites at Catalina Islands, for 40mins each time. A guide is provided and flotation aids are available for everyone. You will have the chance to see some of our colorful fish among other species of aquatic animals.
Duration: Approx. 4 hours.
