During the tour, you’ll see the Lake of Love, Walplein Square, Stoofstraat, Old St. John's Hospital, the Church of Our Lady, Gruuthusemuseum, Dijver Canal, Basilica of the Holy Blood, Market Square, St Salvator’s Cathedral, the City Hall and many more. After the tour you have four hours of free time to wander the streets, taste some Belgian chocolate and stroll along the famous lace shops.

Ausflüge in Brügge - In Flanders Fields – The Great War
Ausflüge in Brügge: We leave Bruges in the direction of the German Military Cemetery of Vladslo where we admire the moving sculptures of Käthe Kollwitz the Grieving Parents. Then we go to the small city of Diksmuide where we visit the Trench of Death, important for the flooding of the Ijzer plain. We see the impressive Gate of Peace and the Ijzertower. Passing along the Peace Mill and the Canadian Monument in St. Julien (1st gas attack), we arrive in Passchendaele where, during terrible battles, uncountable numbers of humans have been killed.
We take some time for a bread meal in the old cheese factory (Passendaele Cheese). Then we visit the famous Commonwealth cemetery of Tyne Cot, where some 13.000 man lay at rest. We arrive at Essex Farm a former field hospital and the spot where John Mc Crae wrote his famous poem In Flanders Fields. We are now close to Ypres and we visit the UNESCO-listed museum of In Flanders Fields, situated in the world famous Cloth Hall.
Along Hellfire corner, our last visit is Hill 60, famous for the tunnelling war and the Caterpillar Crater. A short drive brings us back to Ypres where you have free time for dinner. At 8pm sharp we attend the moving Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate. At the end we drive back to Bruges and we arrive at around 9:30pm. Lunch in Passendaele and entrance to the In Flanders Fields Museum are Included.
